Industrial Water Softeners

Industrial Water Softeners

Coind The company, which operates worldwide, designs and builds plants for water treatment , ranging from primary water treatment water, the treatment of process water and finally to the treatment and purification of waste water.

In many applications it is necessary to reduce the salinity of the water. Water softening is a primary water treatment system. The industrial softeners are compounds from pressurized tanks where the cationic resin is introduced which serves as a filter medium. The water, crossing the resin, modifies its characteristics by exchanging the calcium ion with the sodium ion.

The softening of the water is used in different production realities both to reduce fouling produced during the heating of the water and to avoid the formation of calcareous veils which would reduce the quality of the rinsed pieces. The ion exchange water softeners are regenerated by the percolation of sodium chloride at a low concentration on the resins. Due to its characteristics this regenerating allows you to return to the initial characteristics of the resins during the cycle were exhausted. The insertion of the brine can occur by ejectors water / water or with metering pumps depending on the plant size of softening. The Coind installations are designed for an automatic operation and are controlled by a PLC of the best brands.
