Sea Water Desalinators
Industrial plants located near the coast have the advantage of being able to use seawater for their processing. However, due to its chemical composition, seawater cannot be used as is; it must be made soft.
Seawater desalinators make use of the technology of.reverse osmosis.
Industrial Desalinators, increasingly in demand to make up for water shortages, allow for optimized management of tanks with different salt concentrations.
How Marine Desalinators Work
The process begins with theextraction of fluid from the sea and subsequent passage through initial filters that block foreign bodies and marine organisms.
Next, the stream is passed through layers of quartz sand; this further filters the water to remove salts and impurities still present.
It is then subjected to thehigh pressure of semi-permeable reverse osmosis membranes, with which demineralized water is obtained.
The treatment is efficient on bothbrackish and seawater , and after the separation step is completed, the fluid containing the highest concentration of salt is returned to the environment, without creating imbalance.
At the end of the process, remineralization takes place in order to make the water stream suitable for use, according to regulatory requirements.
Coind 's Desalination or Desalination plants are used either to produce drinking water or for various industrial activities, or forirrigation, urban sanitation oragriculture.
They are subjected to constant monitoring, so that any corrective actions, if any, are immediate, on every stage of the plant.
